Use passionfruit syrup as a base for drinks by adding water fruit, juice or lemonade.
Ingredients:
- 15 passionfruits
- 500g sugar
- 500 ml water
- 1 tablespoon citric acid
Method:
- Cut the passionfruit, scoop out the pulp and place in a bowl.
- Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
- Pour over the pulp and stir in the citric acid. Mix well.
- Allow to cool slightly and strain.
- Bottle and chill.
